WAYNE E. WIECHMANN
WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN
Age 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at his home on Little Silver Lake in Wild Rose, WI. He was born July 1, 1932 in Neenah, WI; son of Henry and Erma (Eldred) Wiechmann. Wayne served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War from 1951 until he was honorably discharged in December 1955. On June 6, 1953, he married Patricia Rees at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Menasha, WI. Wayne worked as a pressman for George Banta Company for 43 years until his retirement in July 1994. He was a previous member of the VFW Post in Wild Rose and the Wild Rose Lions Club. Wayne enjoyed playing golf and woodworking. He will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Great-Grandchildren: William and Claire Stephens

Sister: Joan (Douglas) Schneider of Neenah, WI
Sisters-in-law: Jean Wiechmann of Burlington, WI
Angela Rees of Fond du Lac, WI
Brother-in-law: W.C. Rees of Milwaukee, WI
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Erma Wiechmann, and one brother, Evan Wiechmann.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI. Reverend William Meier will officiate. A visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Wayne E. Wiechmann. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements.
