Willard Johnson's Obituary
Willard A. (Bud) Johnson, age 71, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009 at his residence. Bud was born in Waupaca on February 20, 1938, the son of the late Harlan and Gladys (Barnhart) Johnson. On January 28, 1961, Bud married Marian Nielsen at Hitterdahl Lutheran Church. He worked for many years delivering fuel oil, in Real Estate and helping his son build and remodel homes. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served in the U.S. Army. Bud is survived by his wife: Marian Johnson, Waupaca; his children: Scott (Lauri Handrich) Johnson, Waupaca; Kirt (Tammy) Johnson, Waupaca; Kerry (Todd) Waitrovich, Waupaca and Greg (Amber) Johnson, Appleton; his 11 Grandchildren: Ashley Johnson; Tyler Johnson; Zachery Waitrovich; Josephine & Benjamin Waitrovich; Avery & Macy Johnson; Ryan & Robi Felden; Joshua & Mariah Naeyaert; 3 Great Grandchildren: Jayson, Brooklyn & Aiden and his brother: Doug (Deb) Johnson, Knoxville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlan and Gladys Johnson. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, July 9 at 1:30 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews, officiating. Military Graveside Services will be at Parfreyville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. A Memorial Fund has been established in Bud's name.
