William (Bill) L. Pohlman's Obituary
William (Bill) L. Pohlman, age 89, of Waupaca, WI, formerly of Rosendale passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Bethany Home under the care of Ministry Home Hospice. Bill was born in Neenah, WI on May 20, 1920, the son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Blankenhagen) Pohlman. He was the youngest of 5 children. Bill was a WW II veteran who served from 1942 to 1945 in the Asiatic Pacific Theater with the U.S. Army. After returning home, he went into farming with his 2 brothers in the Berlin area. He later moved to Rosendale and in later years worked at Mills Kimball as a printer and supervisor. Bill is survived by his brother: Clarence Pohlman, Waupaca, WI; his sister: Ruth Pohlman, Waupaca, WI and many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Harvey and a sister Eunice Romberg. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 11 AM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Chaplain JoAnn Chase, officiating. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh. Visitation will be on Weds. morning from 10 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. The Family wish to Thank Dr. McCausland, Dr. Vlach and Ministry Hospice for all their help and support. They also wish to thank the staff at Bethany Home for the wonderful care they gave Bill during his stay.
