William "Bill" Parker's Obituary
William Leonard Parker “Bill” “Wild Willie” “Papa”, age 75 of Amherst, WI passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, July 4, 2025. Bill was born on December 20, 1949; son of the late Leonard and Helen (Johnson) Parker in Milwaukee, WI.
Described by his friends and community as “one-of-a-kind”; Bill owned and operated “Hoover’s Live Bait” for 22 great years. He was an honest man. He was a dedicated provider to his children and grandchildren, who knew him as “Papa”, and a generous friend to those closest to him. He loved God, his country, his Harley and his family and he wasn’t afraid to let others know it.
Bill is survived by his daughters Brandi (Ryan) Hammond, Brooke (David) Franco, Bethany Parker; grandchildren Brielle, Asher, Evelyn and Cole Hammond, Brenton, Tobias and Corban Franco, Urijah Parker; sister Claire (Charlie) Nordness; brother Tom (Peggy) Parker; also, many other relatives and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst. Pastor Philip Thompson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home.
