WILLIAM E. BREE
MANAWA, WI Age 74 - passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at his residence. He was born on August 23, 1931 in Chicago, IL, a son of the late William R. and Margaret (Termoat) Bree. He married Jean Granquist on May 11, 1951 in Norway, MI. William is survived by his wife, Jean Bree, five children: William R. Bree of New London, WI, Cynthia (Patrick) Riley of Royalton, WI, Robert (Michele) Bree of Bear Creek, WI, Michael Bree of Freedom, WI, and Joyce Litscher of Fond du Lac, WI, eight grandchildren: William Bree, Tina (Jeff) DuPlayee, Adrianna Bree, Matthew Bree, Amber Bree, Cynthia Litscher, Crystal Litscher, and Robert Litscher, and six great grandchildren. He is further survived by three brothers: Leo Bree of Appleton, WI, Timmy Bree of Addison, IL, Patrick Bree of Bartlett, IL, a sister: Geraldine Bobik of Wooddale, IL, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson: Michael Bree, two brothers: John and James Bree, and a sister: Margaret Provenzano. He was the former owner of Bree’s Inn I in Dale, WI, Bree’s Inn II in New London, WI, and Bree’s Inn III in Bear Creek, WI. He and owned and operated the taverns for over 21 years. Prior to coming to Wisconsin he had been a truck driver in Chicago, IL for 33 years. He and Jean moved to Dale, WI from Chicago in 1981, and then to Manawa, WI in 2001. It was William’s wish that no service be held. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI assisted the family with arrangements.
