William G. Brouillet's Obituary
William "Bill" George Brouillet, a proud veteran and beloved member of the King, WI community, passed away on May 24, 2024, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. He was 93 years old.
Bill was born on March 10, 1931, to Albert and Genevieve (Hess) Brouillet in New Berlin, WI. He grew up surrounded by the love of his family and the values that would guide him throughout his life.
Following his graduation from high school, Bill answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Air Force. Throughout his distinguished military career, he exemplified dedication, courage, and selflessness, ultimately retiring as a Master Sergeant. His service to his nation was a testament to his unwavering commitment to duty and honor. Bill was a faithful member to his Parish, Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Clarksville, AR and gave his heart and soul to the Knights of Columbus and his faith.
Bill's legacy extends beyond his military achievements. He was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. His warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Bill's presence brought joy and comfort to those around him, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Genevieve Brouillet, as well as seven siblings: Leo Brouillet (Infant), Mary Brouillet (Child), Cecilia Poos, Helen Peters, Rita O'Brien, Joseph Brouillet, and Joan Walleser. While he may no longer be with us in body, his memory will live on in the hearts of his loving family and friends.
A Funeral Mass to honor and celebrate Bill's life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, WI, at 11:00 AM. Prior to the Mass, a Visitation will take place at 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Fr. Jerzy Rebacz will be presiding.
