William Butzin's Obituary
WILLIAM A. BUTZIN
AMHERST, WI Age 85 – died on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at his residence. He was born on November 30, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI, a son of the late Frank and Madeline (Jensch) Butzin. He married Lucille Becker on March 2, 1946 in Milwaukee. They had been married for more than 61 years.
William is survived by his wife: Lucille, three children: Mary (Gerald) Deuman of Amherst, Larry (Gail) Butzin of Waupaca, and Carol (David) Makuski of Waupaca, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 11 step-great grandchildren, and a sister: Marion Lindstedt of Menomonee Falls, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his son: Michael, his parents, and two brothers: Frank and Robert Butzin.
William was a member of the St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, Twp. of Buena Vista. He had been employed as a Salesman for a wholesale plumbing supplier for many years, retiring in 1983. He had served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II. William enjoyed many different activities including golfing, fishing, camping, bowling, and gardening. A Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, Twp. of Buena Vista, on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend Father Dan Farley, Celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Twp. of Lanark. Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 8:30 – 11:00 AM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
