William J. Bever's Obituary
Mr. William J. Bever, age 84, King, Wisconsin, formerly of New London, passed away Wednesday, September 14th, 2005 at Wisconsin Veterans Home Ainsworth Hall, King, Wisconsin. Mr. Bever was born in Nampa, Idaho on December 24, 1920, he was the son of the late Clyde and Blanche (Garten) Bever. In 1940, he married Genevieve (Cummings) Bever in Idaho. She preceded him in death on Jan 29, 1971. William served in the United States Air Force during World War II where he trained pilots. Later, he was a purchaser and distributor of aircraft components throughout the United States. He is survived by Son John R. (Kandi) Bever, Weyauwega; Daughters: Sharon (Edward) Gillett, Corona, California; Jana Bever, New London. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Jacob Bever, Shannon Bever, Allison Bever; Michelle McLachlan, Matthew Bever; Shad Bever, Jennifer Strong, Kari Bever, Lindsay Stutzman and 5 great grandchildren: Calvin Junek, Madalyn & Maxwell Stutzman; Payton & Nolan Jon Strong. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Genevieve and Son: William James Bever Jr., 3 Brothers and 1 Sister. Memorial Service will be held at Wisconsin Veterans Home Main Chapel, King, Wisconsin at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 20th, with Reverend Tracy Hamelink officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King, Wisconsin. Visitation will be Tuesday 1 hour prior to service at Wisconsin Veterans Home Main Chapel.
