William J. Harmann Sr.'s Obituary
William James Harmann Sr., age 69, of Waupaca, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 12, 2011 at his residence, after a long battle with lung cancer. Bill was born in Sturtevant, WI on May 25, 1942, the son of the late William F. and Louise E. (Steinke) Harmann. Feb 1963, Bill married Linda C. Fonk and divorced in 1979. May 1996, Bill married Debra Klimke. Bill's work career includes; employee for the road department and a founding member of the volunteer fire department for the Town of Mount Pleasant, Racine Co. owner of the Edge of Town Bar, Manawa WI; short distance semi driver; hydraulic excavator for Faulks Bros. and for many years at Paul's Concrete Construction Co. He loved spending time hanging out with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed deer hunting, shooting trap, camping, off-road racing, tractor pulls, auctions. He will always be remembered for the way he picked on his family and friends. Bill will be deeply missed by his wife: Debra Harmann, Waupaca; his children: William J. Harmann Jr., Union Grove, WI; Pamela (Jim (Squirrel) Moilanen) Harmann, Trout Creek, MI; Michelle (Kevin) Lunde, Waupaca; Shana (Steve) O'Connor, Mason City, Iowa and Rena (Micah) Klug, Waupaca; his grandchildren: Bradley,Kasey, Cody, Korrye & Bayley Lunde; Anthony Klimke; Ryan, Austin & Paige Rubash; Kalyn & William Klug; his sisters: Doris Dundore, Wittenberg and Dorothy Magray, Georgia and his brother: Edward (Cecile) Harmann, Florida. Bill is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his girl Tootsie. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Delores Langenfeld. Visitation will be on Wednesday August 17 from 4 PM to 7 PM and service to follow at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Pastor Bob Adams, officiating. We will be celebrating Bill's life following the service at the Ale House. A memorial fund has been established in Bill's name.
