William Olson's Obituary
William Bill A. Olson, age 76, of Waupaca, WI, passed away Friday, May 25th, 2007 in Waupaca. He was born in Milwaukee on August 20, 1930, the son of Albert and Estelle (Starosta) Olson. He married Joyce Knutsen on May 12, 1951 in Milwaukee. William was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army. He was a longtime member of the Union Threshermen of Symco. William was an avid fisherman and an antique tractor enthusiast. He is survived by Wife: Joyce Olson, Waupaca; Children: Judith (John) Overton, Eureka, NV; Cynthia (Dan) Anderson, Wild Rose; Gail (Terry) Olson Smith, Kailua, HI; Brian (Mary Bissing-Olson) Olson, Appleton; Diana Olson, St. David, AZ; Grandchildren: USAF Capt. Coreen Mueller; Adam (fiancee, Michelle Olson) Mueller; Christopher Anderson; Nathan Anderson; Nicole Smith; Maile Smith; Megan (fiance, Hannes Zacher) Bissing-Olson; Casey Bissing-Olson; Emily Bissing-Olson and Sister: Donna Rickel, Waupaca. William is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Dolores Reuter. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Pastor Jeff Fletcher officiating. Interment will be in the Lind Center Cemetery in the Town of Lind, Waupaca County. A visitation will be held Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
