Mary (Brown) Zantow
My sincere smpthathy to all of William (Bills) Family. My brothers and I shared many happy memories of years working for Leo, Lucille, Bill and Ann. My late brothers Stanley (Punk) and Norman Brown did chores, including cleaning stalls, feeding and caring for horses, renting out horses daily, driving hayrides, taking out trail riders, helping out with campers and getting rec. room ready for mostly college students parties. Punk drove truck and trailer loads of horses to and from Leo & Lucilles ranches in Florida and Chicago many, many times. I spent many days helping my brothers at Nob Hill Horse Ranch too and I babysat Bumper and Terry many times. I often thought of them with their ponys, Tag-a-long & Me too. We always remembered William (Bill)Sr. as having such a wonderful smile and his ease with getting along with everyone.. Wayne, my late, youngest brother enjoyed time spent at the Wisconsin River property. I am still in contact with Karen Peterson McFadden from WA. who spent years boarding her horse at Nob Hill. She has so many happy memorys of Nob Hill Horse Ranch Too. My brothers are buried at Middleton Junction Cemetery too. Again, my sincerest sympathy to all of William (Bill) Sr. family.
