I have 2 fond memories of my brother-in-law Bill.
The first was in the mid to late 60's when we spent many summer Saturdays perch fishing
on the Bay of Green Bay.
Bill would provide the B's ( the bait, the boat and the beer). I would provide the S's ( the sandwiches, the Sea King and the Sedan). On most of these outings, we didn't catch many fish, but we always had plenty to eat and drink and lots of laughs.
The second was in late August, 1997 when Bill invited me along with 2 of his friends to join him on his annual fly-in-fishing trip to Central Ontario, Canada. We had a private lake all to ourselves and between the 4 of us we caught over 700 Walleye, For seven days, we ate fish, drank beer, played cards, and enjoyed each others' company.
Rest In Peace my friend,
Don Hendricks
Uncle Bill, I will always remember that when I was a young girl you were always larger than life and made everyone laugh at our family gatherings. You will be missed. Love you.❤️
I'll always remember your ability to make everyone laugh.
Rest In Peace Uncle Bill.
I always looked forward to your smile from ear to ear when I walked through the door with a bottle of Crown Royal! That smile is missed more than I can express!
I loved hearing stories about your sisters and children, during the visits too.
You were always a man who found direction in life and I am blessed that you became a part of my life as a step-father!
You Are and Will be Missed, until we meet again in heaven.
You will always be my brother.....
I remember when we were young we would spend our summers in Northern Wisconsin at our grandparents. We had fun playing, picking blueberries and fishing.
Then we became busy raising our own families.
It was always special to get together at Mom's for the holidays. After she was gone, all of our lives went in different directions. However if a need arose, we would be there for each other.
You were loved by many people. One such special person was your step-daughter Cindy. She was awesome at keeping us informed of how you were doing and your comfort had the highest priority in all of her tough decisions.
God blessed us greatly by allowing us to get to know her. We are so grateful!
The memories of you will always be with me.
love you always,
Sandie
