My condolences to the Voigt Family. I remember Will living life with such an open and giving heart. He always had the best stories. I don't think there was a time when he didn't have a smile on his face. Er genoss immer ein gutes Gespräch in Deutsch! I always made sure to have a special chocolate surprise for him anytime I stoped by. My one regret is not stopping in when I was in Stevens Point this past August.
I am going to miss my Grandpa so much. He was always there for me and I will cherish my memories of him forever. I remember as a kid, sitting outside the nearby kwik trip with grandpa selling pumpkins from our garden. I was going to use the money for a new bicycle and I'm glad to have had grandpa at my side. I've never seen a better salesman and couldn't have asked for better company. When I was older, grandpa would pick me up after swimming lessons and give me a ride home. The drive was only about 15 min, but we would sit in his car for sometimes an hour just visiting and sharing stories. As a grown man, the life lessons and fun memories with grandpa kept on. I remember a recent visit at my grandparents home, grandpa pulled out all of his concertinas and accordions he had collected and played. His nickname was the music man and rightfully so. I've never met someone like him that could just pick up an instrument and play about any song by just hearing the beat. He had so much passion for music. He told me of the stories he had with each instrument, where they were made, and what some of them meant to our family. I've never met someone else with so much passion and charisma. Grandpa, your life lessons and our fond memories will live on for ever. I love you very much.
Your grandson,
Brandon
