Dan and I have known Bill and Doris for many years and have cherished their friendship. We especially enjoyed the time we visited them in Montana many years ago. We know the last few years have been challenging for them, moving back to Waupaca, but we also know Bill is at rest with the Lord now. I always saw Bill as a sensible guy, good natured, and a wonderful help in getting Calvary Lutheran Church off the ground. Although I just got to know Bill when He and Doris Joined Calvary church, I found him to be such a friendly Guy! I never knew until now what his life was like but he sure was an inspiration from all that he did in his life! When they moved to Park Vista I would run into him now and then when i went to see my mother there! He would always notice me and we would visit for a bit! Im sorry that he is gone from us, but im sure he is now in the presence of our lord and looking down on those of us left behind!
