Woodrow Testin's Obituary
Woodrow Testin, age 92 of Wild Rose, WI passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. Woodrow was born on Febuary 11, 1913 in the Town of Springwater the son of the late William and Alice (Lang) Testin. On October 29, 1931 he married Eleanor Evans in Parfreyville. Woodrow spent most of his life on the family farm in the Town of Springwater. He was town chairman for Springwater for a number of years. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and is a member of Wild Rose United Methodist Church. He is survived by wife of 73 years, Eleanor Testin of Wild Rose, his sons, Pat Testin of New Berlin, Dennis (Norma) Testin of Wild Rose and Larry (Kathy) Testin of Fond du Lac. Also surviving are five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Woodrow was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, one brother and one daughter-in-law.
Funeral Service will be at Wild Rose United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 30 at 11 AM with Reverend Diane R. Fite, officiating. Interment will be in the Greenvale (Dopp) Cemetery in the Town of Belmont. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 9 to 11 AM at the church. A memorial fund has been established in Woodrow's name. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements.
