Carl L. Newby's Obituary
Carl L. Newby age 68, passed away on Sunday August 28, 2022. Carl was born on November 14, 1953, the son of Harland and Janice (Teske) Newby. Carl married Jody Mausling on June 12, 1975. Carl served in the U.S. Air Force for 8 years and in the Army Reserves for 3 years.
Carl is survived by his wife Jody Newby of Weyauwega, WI; his sons Corey (Kimberly) Newby of Lakeville, MN and Curtis Newby of Appleton, WI; his grandchildren Riley Washington, Levi Newby and Duke Newby; his father Harland Newby of Plover, WI; two brothers Colin (Cindy) Newby of Bancroft, WI and Craig (Brenda) Newby of Almond, WI; four sisters Carmen (Arthur) Pagel of Almond, WI, Christine (Robert) Barden of Plover, WI, Cheryl Smith of Waupaca, WI and Cynthia (Bill) Brandl of Bancroft, WI and many other relatives and friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his mother Janice Newby.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 1, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Almond, WI. Reverend Dr. Charles Tews will officiate. A visitation will be held on Thursday September 1, 2022 at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Burial of cremains will be held at later date at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.
