Dave, seeing and talking to you at work was always a highlight of my day. Our desks were close so there wasn't usually a day that we didn't talk about whatever. Nicole and Heather, you're Dad was so proud of you and though he was a private man, he always had a smile when he talked of you both....and then the grandchildren came and I knew by the way he talked about them that he wished he could see them everyday. I'm sad that his plans to move closer to you girls didn't happen and that his retirement days were numbered. He definitely was deserving of many more years with Jenny and the adventures they could of enjoyed. Rest in Peace Dave - you were a great co-worker!
So many great memories with (and of) Dave. From his daily stops by our place on his walk home from work, Survivor nights with his famous chili, to watching Badger games together and filling out March Madness brackets with a Caffeine Free Pepsi wager, there are so many memories that will live on forever. My thoughts and prayers are with his amazing family. Thanks for everything Dave.

Wow, so many memories of my dad (Gene Burzinski) and Dave, Tom Clinton, Bob Schmatz and more in the back room of Gene's United Foods enjoying the end of the workday Happy Hour. Dave was one of the few who stood and spoke at my dads funeral, that really meant a lot. Jen, I'm so sorry for your loss, but we will all meet again.
