I did not know Diane personally, having only met her a few times when she brought her granddaughters--Isabelle and Alaina--to visit their mom, Angela, at work. From those few encounters, and the numerous stories from Angela, it was not very hard to see that Diane was a wonderful person, a doting grandmother, and one of the best moms. Her gentle touch, loving words, and helping hands will be greatly missed by those that loved her and those she loved. May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers to Angela and your family.

Diane, I'm an so very saddened to hear of your passing. Growing up at the Cafe is something I will cherish the rest of my life. You were like a second mother to me and I have learned SOOOO much about cooking, family and life from you. You have touched the lives of so many. Diane was a great friend and boss to me.I loved working for her and Bill at the cafe.She will be greatly missed.She always sent me a card for birthdays and anniversarys even for mother's day.We will miss her alot.
