Diane E. Dombrowski's Obituary
Diane E. Dombrowski age 62, of Amherst Junction passed away on May 28, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. She was born on June 8, 1947 the daughter of Raymond and Virginia (Patoka) Dombrowski. She married William Dombrowski on September 25, 1965. She was the former owner for ten years of the Polonia Café and had a great talent for cooking. She cooked the best omelets in town. She was a great mother and grandmother. She adored all of her grandchildren and lovingly cared for them. She was a very sweet woman that loved the little things in life. She was always smiling and cheerful.
Diane is survived by her husband William Dombrowski of Amherst Junction; children Laura (Scott) Trzebiatowski of Amherst Junction, Rob (Karen) Dombrowski Amherst Junction, James (Kelly) Dombrowski of Rosholt, Adam Dombrowski of Stevens Point, and Angela (Devin) Groshek of Custer. Her mother Virginia Dombrowski of Amherst. Grandchildren Skylar and Brooke Trzebiatowski, Kasey, Nicholas and Jacob Dombrowski, Aubree Dombrowski and Isabelle and Alaina Groshek. Brothers and sisters David (Linda) Dombrowski, Donald (Mary) Dombrowski, Jim (Sharon) Dombrowski, Sue (Jim) Chick, Mary (John) Bigus, Tomas (Corrine) Dombrowski.
She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Dombrowski, and a brother Gary Dombrowski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 2, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia at 11 a.m. Father Marcin will officiate, burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst from 4 until 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. and again at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the mass at 11 a.m.
