I started my career with the State Patrol in 1985 so I never had the pleasure of working with Don. However, I did have the pleasure of working with his son Tom for most of my career. During this time, Tom would speak often of his father, always favorably.
I have the utmost respect for Tom, he is a true friend. Very honest and ethical, as well as caring and always willing to listen about problems with never being judgmental or offering unwanted advice.
It takes an exceptional man to raise an exceptional son, so I know that Don was truly an exceptional man.

To the Jones Family-My name is Orville Froh and I was in the second class of the WSP Academy in 1956. I got to know Don while working in District lll for many years. Don was
a good friend and Sergeant. We,along with many others, enjoyed the times together at
our district Christmas parties and at in-service training at the academy. Robert Janssen
of Plymouth, a sixth class academy graduate & friend of mine also knew Don as I did.
We both wish your Family our deepest sympathy for your loss of Don. Also, best wishes
