Scott E. High
Donnie and I spent a lot of time together as Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts back in the 50's and 60's. In fact his mom, Phyllis, was our den mother. Don was my bunk mate at the Valley Forge World Jamboree in the summer of 1964 when they came to tell him that his father had passed. He accepted the news with a grace and dignity that complemented his intelligence and great personality. It was as tough for him then as it will be difficult for his family now. Even though we haven't seen each other in about 30 years, when we finally meet again we will greet each other as though we had visited yesterday. He was a good man with great character and I was happy to have him as a friend.
