Donald R. Schroeder's Obituary
Donald R. Schroeder, age 65, of Waupaca, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Don was born in Waupaca on January 19, 1950, he was the son of the late Harold and Phyllis (Johnson) Schroeder. Don owned and operated Schroeder Construction Co. for 35 years retiring in 2014. On May 22, 2004 Don married Susan Lytie in Waupaca.
He is survived by his wife: Sue Lytie-Schroeder, Waupaca; his daughters: Delaney (Curt) Schroeder-Klein, Portland, OR; Chelsea (Stu) Schroeder-Rudgid, Milwaukee and Courtney (Bill Fredricks) Schroeder, Milwaukee; his stepchildren; Bill (Christy) Becker, Waupaca; Patrick (Erica) Becker, Waupaca and Amber Shambeau-Somers, Appleton; his grandchildren: Breyanna, Emma, Michael, Greyson, Makenna, Maddie, Benji, Logan, Kadin, Stella, Frankie & Charlie; his brothers: Larry (Lettie) Schroeder, California and James (Sharon) Schroeder, Cary, IL. Don was preceded in death by his parents.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Saturday, January 31 from 2 to 4 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with a time of sharing at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Don's name.
