I am sorry to hear of Chunky’s passing. I did not know him very well, but quite a few years ago, he would pick up kids from the WLC when I was picking up mine. I’m from Milwaukee and recognized the winter hat he always wore—it was an Albert the Alley Cat hat, which was famous on one of the Milwaukee news station weather forecasts during the late ’70s and early ’80s.
I complimented Chunky on his hat, and we ended up talking for quite a while about it. From then on, we always had delightful conversations. My condolences for your loss. He was a great man.
