Evelyn "Dolly" C. Kolka's Obituary
Evelyn C. (Dolly) Kolka, age 92, of Wild Rose, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 at Wild Rose Manor. She was born in Town of Little Black, Taylor Co., WI on May 22, 1926, the daughter of the late Francis and Barbara (Blaha) Kolka.
Evelyn attended Chain O Lake School in the Town of Rose, Wild Rose High School, Waushara County Normal School and was a graduate of UW-Stevens Point. Evelyn was a teacher for 25 years. She taught in one room rural schools in Waushara and Marquette Counties and elementary grades in Coloma and Westfield. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wautoma.
Survivors include her Brothers: James (Patricia) Kolka, Wild Rose, WI; David (Lois) Kolka, Wild Rose, WI; She is further survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother - George.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wautoma at 11 AM on Thursday, July 19th, 2018, with Father David Greskowiak, officiating. Interment will be at Bohemian Cemetery, Town of Rose, Waushara Co., WI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church.
