James W. Kempfert's Obituary
Mr. James William Kempfert, age 30, of Waupaca passed away Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident near Waupaca. James was born in Waupaca, on January 15, 1976, he was the son of Richard and Sue (Leeman) Kempfert. James was a magna cum laude graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelors of Science in Finance. He completed his law degree in the spring of 2006 from the Marquette School of Law and was a practicing attorney with the New London firm of Werner, Lindgren & Johnson, S.C. He was a very gifted scholar. James also excelled in athletics and will be remembered by many for his understated and gracious sportsmanship. In all things, he embraced challenge and enjoyed what he learned along the way. James was never defined by what he did, however, but by the style in which he did it. He was a true friend, a warm hug, an easy shrug and grin. James shall be greatly missed. He is survived by his Parents: Richard & Sue Kempfert, Waupaca; Sister: Kathryn (Joseph) Ruppert, Appleton; Brother: Joel Kempfert, Waupaca; Grandparents: Violet Kempfert, Green Bay; Royal & Margaret Leeman, Shiocton; Close Friend: Molly Metzger. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather: Walter Kempfert. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles other relatives and many friends. The Funeral Service will be held at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 7:30 P.M. on Friday, January 12th, with Reverend Jeffrey Holtan officiating.
