We are so sad to hear about the passing of Jan. Jan was a woman filled with love and compassion for all whom she met. I met John and Jan in 1980 as I lead the youth ministry at Faith Community Church. They invited me to share in ministry with their children, whom I grew to love and admire. Thanks Jan for impacting my life. Lew Potter
Dear John, John J., Chris, Trisha & Sheri, Your Mom was such a special person, my confidant, she was always quick to hear & slow to answer. Jan had such a peaceful presence & was always able to calm me down if I was upset about anything. She was able to put things in perspective and gave such wonderful Godly advice. She'll always be my big sister & I will carry part of her with me until I meet her in heaven. What a glorious day that will be! I love you guys! Love, Aunt Barb
My dear friends and family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Jan's passing and have your whole family in my thoughts and prayers. I have peace knowing she is with the Lord her Father celebrating. I love you all dearly and am sending you big HUGS!
Sincerely,
Katie Thompson
Hi John,
Ellen and I are so sorry to learn of Jan's passing. During our short visit in the spring, 2009 down in Florida, it was quite evident that Jan was a wonderful caring person devoted to you and your family. Even then, her prognosis was not good, but Ellen and I were both struck by how calm Jan was about her health which speaks to the confidence she had in her final destination. No words can remove the hurt and the sorrow you and your family are experiencing now. However, please know that we are praying that God's love and grace will surround you during this difficult time. Our love, Chib and Ellen
