I met you so long ago, maybe 40 years or more, back in the 80s, when our mutual friend Mary told me to go meet your shift nurse, Karen. From that moment on we began our Everlasting loving, caring and sharing friendship. Our last Gathering we United at Parker John's in Stevens Point for One Last Time February 5th, 2026. About 2 years ago, Karen had lost her beloved son, Nathan, her best friend. I observed a woman losing a son becoming heartbroken. Honestly, I didn't see it totally until it shook me in the face. A mother crying of loneliness, afraid to carry the burden. A close friend of Nathan's became her inspirations to do things. He became part of her family. And that made me happy knowing someone was visiting and helping with house and yard. Jason who also lived there several years with Karen and Nathan. He knew Nathan for over 30 years, so losing two people has also been hard for him as well. I will miss Karen deeply and dearly as she was as wonderful to me as an open flower smiling into the sun with only beautiful shades of blue sky above us to see. I loved her kind soul.

About 2 years ago, Karen had lost her beloved son, Nathan,.her best friend. I slowly observed a woman loosing a son become heart broken. Honestly I didn't see it totally until it shook me in the face. A mother crying of loneliness, afraid to carry the burden.
A close friend of Nathan's became her inspirations to do things after retiring and he became part of her family. That made me happy knowing someone was visiting, helping with the house and yard. We little knew the day that God was going to call your name.In life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.D.
I little knew the day that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved one another but from afar.
It broke my heart to see you go,but you didn't go alone. A part of me went with you,the day God called you home.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.
