It was my pleasure to call and visit with Marge in these past several months. She was always "fine", no matter what was going on. We had many lovely visits. My prayers are with the family. RIP, Marge.

I will always remember Marge walking on the K. I thought to myself what a motivated lady! She was a wonder mother and I enjoyed speaking to her when Marvin passed. He was very fortunate to have her as well as the rest of the family. I am sorry I missed her funeral service. I will visit the grave this summer and say a prayer or two.

I had the PLEASURE of playing sheepshead with Marge many a Sunday at the church card parties. Marge's card playing abilities were strong even as age may have taken other abilities from her. In life, as in those sheepshead games, there I'm sure were times in which she wondered how one deck could hold so many 7s,8s, and 9s. But, difficult and trying as it sometimes must have been, she always played the hand that was dealt her. Her strong faith would not let her do otherwise. So now as she joins in that sheepshead game with the others gone before her, may she be rewarded with the hand that she deserves. Four queens, four jacks, the perfect hand.
But is there sheepshead in heaven you may ask? I'm sure there is, for I got a little glimpse of heaven those Sunday afternoons playing cards with Marge and the others. May the peace she has now found be of comfort to the family. And may she be held up as an example of someone who always played the hand that was dealt her, no matter how good or how bad the hand may have been.
