Marvin J. Matowitz's Obituary
Marvin J. Matowitz “Snooky” age 84 of Waupaca died on Tuesday January 26, 2010 at the Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He was born on September 28, 1925 the son of Joseph and Stacy (Olkowski) Matowitz.
He is survived by two sons Richard “Pete”(Donna) Matowitz of Neenah, Joseph (Susan) Matowitz of New Berlin, one daughter Jean Blank (special friend Mark Marek); eight grandchildren Carey (Scott) Webb, Sherry (Zach) Conover, Kyle Matowitz (special friend Jean), Keith (Nikki) Matowitz, Jennifer (Scott) Fabian, Curt Matowitz, Jake Matowitz, and Amanda Matowitz; five great grandchildren Tobias, Robert, and Samantha Conover, Tayla Webb, and Morgan Matowitz; a special friend Lois, one sister Audrey “sis” Smolinski, and one daughter-in-law Barbara Matowitz.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Stacy Matowitz, his wife June (Hawley) Matowitz, and one son William Matowitz.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 30, 2010 at 12 noon at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Pastor Jeff Fletcher will officiate. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. A special thanks to the Staff at the Crystal River Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
