Mary T. Burgess' Obituary
Mary T. Burgess, age 67, of Redgranite, formerly of Waupaca, passed away on Tuesday, March 25th, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born in Romulus, NY, on August 10, 1946, a daughter of the late Edmund and Alice (Burke) Scalf.
She married Leslie R. Burgess Sr. on September 3, 1966 in Tucson, AZ. He preceded her in death in 2010.
Mary was an avid reader. She had a heart of gold and was always a very happy person. Mary loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her Children: Leslie (Lyn) Burgess Jr., Waupaca, WI; Christine (Richard) Hohenstein, Redgranite, WI; Arlen (Jen) Burgess, Waupaca, WI; Grandchildren: Michael (Cat), Kaylene (Corey), and Seth; Great Grandchildren: Lauren, Lane, Lucy and Easton; Sister: Jean Grier, California and her Best Friend: Cindy Hawkins, California. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca.
