MICHAEL V. DAWALT
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 52, passed away very unexpectedly on Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Waupaca, WI. He was born December 21, 1957 in Riverside, CA; son of James H. and Irene (Guyant) DaWalt, Sr. Mike graduated from North Iowa Area Community College in 1993. Unfortunately, he suffered for many years with MS. Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was a member of Calvary Chapel of Waupaca. Mike is survived by:
Daughter: Angela (Michael) Worple of Iowa
Son: Ryan DaWalt of Shawano, WI
Step-Son: Kurt Kienast of Ripon, WI
Three Grandsons
Brother: James (Valerie) DaWalt, Jr. of Waupaca, WI
Sisters: Sharon (Carroll) Thompson of Waupaca, WI
Rikki (Dave Myska) Young of Waupaca, WI
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Irene DaWalt, Sr. A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 5:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Pastor David Goyke will officiate. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Mike’s name to the Waupaca MS Self Help Group. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
