It's so hard to believe you're gone.I remember all the fun we had riding bikes around Point. Once, a young man started yelling to you as we rode past, "Hey, Nancy, when are you going to go out with me?" You told me he'd been asking you out for a while, but you liked Roy. Little did I know then what a love story you would live, once you began dating Roy. You were devoted to each other. Your mom always told me you two were head over heels in love. This was years after you were married on that snowy Thanksgiving Day. Wearing a beautiful beige and blue Gunne Sax gown, you were radiant and so happy.
And you were always a better housekeeper than me. I remember the tidbit I use to this day--keeping unused coffee in the refrigerator to keep it fresh.
I remember spending time with you, but don't remember any outstanding memories, except that whenever we were about to go biking, you'd tell your dad we were off to the Fox Farm. He would laugh and tell us to have a good time. You adored Uncle Bill. I hope you can catch up now that you joined him and your mom.
Thanks for being a good cousin and remembering my birthday with a card, complete with a beautifully decorated envelope. I still have an envelope from a Christmas card you and Roy sent me at least a dozen years ago. It is just too pretty to throw out.
Hopefully, I'll catch up with you. Until then, enjoy keeping an eye on us.

I saw a lot of Nancy when I visited my Grandpa Dziekan in Stevens Point in the early 1960’s. Even though she was a couple years younger than me, she usually took the lead. I remember one day she walked my sister, Jenny, and my cousin, Dickey (he was called that then), and me to downtown Stevens Point. On the way back we played on the merry-go-round in the parking lot of St. Stephen School. It was a sunny day and Dickey carried an umbrella! I also remember hiding with Nancy in Aunt Irene’s dining room during a solar eclipse. Nancy was full of energy and fun.
Nancy, we will mostly miss your laugh and that fun silly side of you.RIP Nancy we will see you on the other side. Sometime send us a little reminder that your thinking about us and keeping a eye on us Love you!!

Cousin Nancy was much older than me, and she hung around with my oldest sister, Jeanne. Most of my memories of Nancy are filtered through Jeanne. I always thought Nancy looked like Liza Minelli.
I stopped by Aunt Irene's house one time when I was in Middle school, and Nancy was home sick with mono. I didn't know what that was.
I remember their wedding was at the Holiday Inn.
When I worked at Waupaca Foundry I would see Roy and Nancy at the company picnics. Nancy made sure to let me know they hadn't missed a one.
They attended our open house when we finally moved in to 8810 CR D. Nancy commented that our upstairs was larger than their whole apartment.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
