Mrs, Newell was one of the best teachers I had at Alexander High School in Nekoosa, WI. She was a great Phy Ed Teacher, also advisor to my GAA Association, and my cheerleading advisor. She was the best and complimented me very much in my high school annuals. I am glad to read she had a great life with Norman after retiring and she got to travel that much. She deserved it.

My mother Naomi, was Norm, I didn't many summers around the farm and then on the island.
Aunt Nelda was always a great strong fun presence. Loved her very much.
She will always have a place in my heart.
Have known Nell & Norm ever since they moved into our Take It Easy Park. Had lots of fun times. We were neighbors for a long time. Misidentified her when she moved back to,Wisconsin. A great last with a great personality!!!!!! Thoughts & prayers to the family. Janet Alderman, Kerrville TX.
Humke class of 74 pingpong paddle when needed still a great teacher
I was only 6 when she came out to our country school. Later at the grade school. Most of us liked her. We all also remember the ping pong paddle for mid-behaving ones! So glad she had time to raise the family and travel. RIP
