From Butch Mullen...I'm so sad to hear this news! Roger and I were great buddies, growing up on the same block in Plainfield until his family moved to Almond. We stayed in touch and maintained our friendship through high school, then life's demands put a huge dent in maintaining contact. I've thought about him many times throughout the years, and trusted he was living life to the fullest! Rest in peace my friend.

Dear Peggy and family,
I was shocked to hear of your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I remember when I was sewing all the cowboy shirts for Richard he kept asking me to make him one that would be long enough in the arms. Over the years I have remembered that and spoke to friends that I should still do it. I guess Roger's loss has given me a big wake-up on promises and friends. We have lost touch over the years, and for that I have regrets.
I understand how hard this will be on you and your family. Please know that he is now in a better place and you will be reunited one day. God has him now. Trust in Him.
