Sarah E. Pohl's Obituary
We are sad to announce that Sarah E. Pohl, of Almond, WI, passed away on Friday, August 11th, 2017. She was born in Almond, WI on June 20, 19??, a daughter of the late Alfred and Isabelle (Langbauer) Milius.
She married Herbert Pohl on October 14, 1939 in Amherst. He preceded her in death on March 3, 1976. Sarah retired as a District Manager for Avon Inc. after 20 years.
Survivors include her Daughter: Mary Jane Engelsgjerd, Tucson, AZ; Grandchildren: Brian (Cindy) Swan, Amherst; Marc (Jennifer London) Engelsgjerd, New York, NY; Adam (Diana Denwood) Engelsgjerd, Denver, CO; Great Grandchildren: Saxon Herbert Swan, Amherst; Tucker Martin Swan, Amherst; Audrey Engelsgjerd, New York, NY; Nephews: Richard (Kathy) Milius, Pryor, OK; Doug (Rosann) Milius, Oshkosh, WI; Bob (Ma) Pesch, Stevens Point. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Isabelle(Langbauer) Milius, Husband - Herbert, Daughter - Ellen Swan and a Brother - Lyle Milius.
Memorial Services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Almond at 11 AM on Friday, August 18th, 2017, with Reverend Brian Roehrborn, officiating. Interment of cremains will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Almond. Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4 until 8 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church and on Friday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. The Hardell-Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
